Introduction

Renteric ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, payment information, and property data you enter into the platform. We also automatically collect usage data, device information, and cookies.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain the service, process payments, send notifications, improve the platform, and communicate with you about your account.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform, including Stripe for payments and Resend for email. Anthropic processes a selected financial document only when you expressly request the visible document-analysis feature. We may also disclose data when required by law.

Google user data

If you connect Gmail to the Financial Inbox, Google's Gmail read-only permission technically gives Renteric access to view Gmail messages and settings. Renteric limits ingestion to new messages received after connection that match the filters you configure, and uses the sender, subject, body, and financial documents solely to import, classify, display, and reconcile receipts and payment proofs within your organization. If both label and sender filters are empty, Renteric processes new inbox messages under your attachment setting, excluding promotional, social, and forum categories. Renteric cannot send, modify, or delete Gmail messages. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and are never displayed to users or included in application logs.

Limited use and assisted processing

Renteric's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising, credit profiling, or training generalized artificial intelligence models. When you expressly request analysis of a financial document, the selected content may be transferred to Anthropic as a data processor to extract data for a visible Renteric feature. We do not permit that content to be used for generalized training.

Retention, revocation, and deletion

You can disconnect Gmail from Settings at any time. Renteric then revokes the token with Google when possible and cryptographically deletes stored credentials, ending access to new messages. Previously imported financial documents and data remain as records in your account until you delete them, close the account, or request deletion at privacy@renteric.com, unless a legal obligation requires retention. Unintegrated drafts are deleted automatically after 10 days.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls.

Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings. You may also contact us to request data export or account deletion.
